I just returned from four awesome days in sunny New Orleans, which was fantastic. However, what's even more fantastic was the sweet little occurrence at our household just prior to my departure.
Wednesday night, this is what I found on my dresser as I got into my jammies for dinner (what, don't you immediately take off work clothes and put on comfy ones post-work?!)

What was in it?
The "this" was a twenty dollar bill!
What makes this gross was what I left for him on the bed, same night:
And clearly, I gifted him twenty bucks in chipotle.
So, essentially, we exchanged twenty dollars.
How cute.

ReplyDeleteThat's adorable. My husband and I don't do stuff like that, but we often have the exact same thoughts at the exact same time. Like, we'll have said "What do you want to do for dinner tonight?" and just sat and thought and then one of us will throw out an idea and the other one will have been thinking the same thing. It's creepy.
