He was lip smacking away and then he said:
"These don't even need frosting."
However.
I'm a believer that frosting, when done correctly, only enhances and can be good anytime, anywhere.
Topher's view? Frosting is only needed on things like "yellow cake." (btw, yellow cake is my favorite.)
What's your view? Frosting on or frosting off?
On brownies, frosting off. On any kind of cake, frosting on! It's usually my favorite part.
ReplyDeletemy motto is "less cake, more frosting." this includes brownies!! :)
ReplyDeleteUnless it's nasty... frosting ALWAYS!
ReplyDeleteI reallly like frosting, but on brownies my favorite thing is the cream cheese swirl! Yummy and creamy :)
ReplyDeleteI'm pro-frosting. Frosting on anything please: cookies, cake, brownies...etc
ReplyDeleteIMO, the frosting is the most important thing. More important, even, than the brownie. (And I do love brownies.)
ReplyDeletei know this is about frosting philosophy, but seriously, can i come live with you? your baking makes me melt.
ReplyDeleteYes always to frosting is the way I roll.
ReplyDeleteFROSTING, duh. My perfect ratio of frosting to cake involves barely seeing the speck of cake on my frosting :)
ReplyDeleteWho turns down frosting? Not me, that's for sure.
ReplyDeleteI love frosting. LOVE it! And it better be buttercream - none of that non-dairy whipped topping crap.
ReplyDeleteBut on brownies I am firmly anti-frosting! I think it's because I like my brownies undercooked and fudgy, which doesn't go well with frosting.
The more frosting the better. ALWAYS.
ReplyDeleteI am firmly of the mindset that there is never such a thing as "too much frosting." If something doesn't have frosting, frosting will make it even more amazeballs.
ReplyDeleteActually, if I see someone scrape (precious, luscious) frosting off of a piece of cake or a cupcake, I honestly get a bit upset, because It offends my frosting-loving sensibilities. True story.
Frosting. Always, always, always frosting.
ReplyDeleteFrosting makes everything better. As does cheese.
