and it was good.
i'm feeling happy. which is great considering i came home feeling tired and stressed.
tonight i made four cakes. chocolate and red velvet. for a secret at work. i can't write about it here. someone might read it.
i love hockey. do you ever watch hockey? you should. i have a favorite player. topher hates this player. 'cept he'll get mad at this post and say he doesn't hate him (but he does.)
this hockey player's name is semin.
yes, semin.
alexander semin. or aleksander. that's how i say it in my head.
semin likes to pretend he can't speak english. but he can.
i told topher all i wanted for our one year anniversary was to meet him. it's not paper, but it's better. it's semin.
topher said i should write about boomer's night terrors.
this is better, no?
happy thursday. here's to hoping you drink wine tonight.
great post. Made me smile.. and *cheers* heres to finishing my last glass for the night!
ReplyDeleteHa, I love hockey and the names are always fun! The Blue Jackets have a player named Clitsome, which always makes me giggle like an idiot.
ReplyDeleteThe *ticket* is paper. You're golden!
ReplyDeleteBoomer has night terrors?
ReplyDeleteI obviously have my priorities mixed up. I should be focusing on the cute Aleksander. (I like saying it that way too.)
Hm, I just booked a vacation for our first anniversary- I'm thinking the plane and theme park tickets count for the "paper" requirement right?
ReplyDeleteHahhaha....I love this post so much. Semin. :) I should take your advice & have a glass of wine tonight...I could use one!
ReplyDeleteoh! I did have wine last night! mmmm :)
ReplyDeleteI had a delicious glass of wine last night. It was so awesome that it inspired me to fold my clothes. That's usually a bit of a stretch for a glass of wine, but I still appreciated it.
ReplyDeleteSemin looks delicious ;)
I'd take Semin over paper any day.
ReplyDeleteYeaaa, I said it. And I'm only on glass #1 of wine!
Dear Kate,
ReplyDeleteI love wine, hockey (BU and Pens all the way!), your rambling wine-induced post...and your blog :)
xoxo,
Ellie
